Welcome to the West Walker Civic Association
West Walker Civic Association is a not for profit organization that was founded in the year 1912 and incorporated in 1920. The objective of this organization is to obtain the desired improvements and safeguards for the civic welfare of the property owners, licensed business owners, and residents.
The pursuit of the West Walker Civic Association is to make our diverse neighborhood the best it can be by securing the services, safeguards and improvements the West Walker community is entitled to have.

Changes to WWCA General Meeting Schedule
The WWCA Board voted to modify the general meeting schedule, skipping months where there has been traditionally low turnout due to Holidays and/or inclement weather. Note the Wire will continue to be distributed monthly.General meetings will only be held: September, October, December, March, April, May.
Free Flu Shots
The Chicago Department of Health will be offering free Flu Shots on November 10, 2008, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 39th Ward Public Service Office located at 4404 W. Lawrence. Flu shots are provided free of charge and are especially recommended for people age 50 and over and those with chronic medical conditions.
